The middle finger on my left hand aches all the time.
Two toes on my left foot are numb.
My right calf muscle went out on me yesterday.
There’s a ridge of blurriness in my right eye.
I wake up with back spasms every morning.
My knees scream when I walk down stairs.
Susan says my hearing isn’t what it used to be.
I clear my throat constantly.
I think my gall bladder needs to come out.
I can’t remember all the things I’ve forgotten.
I imagine the next 20 years of pains and indignities and wonder how can I go on.
