I thought I’d share a few photos from my Sunday trip to the Gunpowder River. I took a spontaneous hour-long drive to the Prettyboy Dam last week. I didn’t get any great photos of the dam itself or the massive reservoir—that’ll have to wait for another trip—but I spent some time walking along the river and taking in the soothing sounds and sights. So gorgeous.

On the way home, just a few miles from my house, I spotted a sunlit field of crops that looked white and gold at the same time. I had to pull over and take some photos.
